CHAD Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us. To protect your privacy, we provide this notice explaining our information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used.
Collection and Use of Personal Information
When you request information, make a donation, register using one of our forms or contact us offline, we may need your specific information in order to process your registration/request and reply promptly. We may ask you for contact information (such as your name, email and address) and demographic information (such as your zip code or age). We also collect demographic and profile data at our site and in our databases. In general, we use identifiable information as indicated below.
Part of our mission is to improve the lives of people affected by a disability or chronic disease, and we do that by providing appropriate health information. If you share personal health information through a request for more information on one of our charities or resources, that information may be shared with one or more of our charities in order to connect you with the resources you are requesting.
We ask that donors provide personal information when making a pledge through either our website, donation site or through a paper pledge form in order to complete a transaction. Similar to many other non-profit organizations, CHAD occasionally makes available only our contributor names and postal addresses to the charities that a donor has designated to, unless this donor has asked to remain anonymous. We also list donor names for recognition purposes unless a donor has indicated that they do not wish to be publicly recognized by checking the appropriate box on their pledge form.
You can request that we do not share your information by emailing us at info@chadnebraska.org or by indicating your preferences on your paper pledge form.
Protecting Personal Financial Information
Our website uses Stripe to process donations through this website, and we also use Square or PayPal for other transactions. If you provide credit card or checking account information to us through a paper pledge form or online, this information will be kept strictly confidential and only used when completing an authorized transaction.

You acknowledge and agree that CHAD has no control over such sites and resources and is not responsible for the availability of such external sites or resources and does not endorse and is not responsible or liable for any materials, advertising, products or other materials on or available from such sites or resources. Email Guidelines
CHAD does not send unsolicited commercial email to individuals with whom they do not have consent/permission or a pre-existing or current business relationship. CHAD provides all email recipients who provide their information to us via pledge form or other correspondence with a clear, easy and effective method to unsubscribe to any and all online communications.
Monitoring of Information
We monitor customer traffic patterns and site usage to help us develop the design and layout of our website (chadnebraska.org). We may also use the information we collect to occasionally notify you about important changes to the website, new services or features offered by CHAD and special offers and information we think you will find valuable.
